Is there a church that offers just the right mix of music for everyone? Probably not. But that is not really our purpose here at First Baptist. We believe it is more important to help people practice what Jesus said when he taught us to "worship the Father in spirit and in truth". If we do that, then people will be empowered to act out God’s will in their everyday lives. Another goal here at First Baptist is to produce high quality music with a high quality message. Even though we utilize a wide variety of styles here, musical style is secondary to the Biblical message. After all, it is not about the style of music, it is about the truth of the message. So no matter what your musical taste may be, we believe you will be challenged to deepen your faith through the music and worship ministry of First Baptist Albany.
